Abortion in America has always been an emotionally-charged topic. And today’s intense political polarization only exacerbates the issue. Whether pro-life or pro-choice, respectful conversations and rational analysis seem impossible. Although a contemporary subject, its core choice—life or death—takes us back to the beginnings of our biblical faith and the moral foundation on which the Christian Church stands. The thoughts and perspectives expressed in this podcast come from two Christians who have based their pastoral ministry on the timeless Word of God.

Are reproductive rights simply a positive spin on a tragic decision? Is abortion an entitlement, a minor medical procedure? Or is it a selfish act masquerading as personal freedom? Should this choice outweigh the sanctity of life? Choosing life—or death—is not a cost-free decision. There are always consequences to our actions. Christians are called to be molded and shaped, not by our surrounding culture or sinful impulses, but by the timeless Word of God. Allow Scripture and your conscience, guided by God’s Spirit, to speak to you on this critical issue.

“See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction… Now choose life, so that you and your children may live” (Deuteronomy 30:15, 19).
