Higher Ground | What A Friend

Prayer is our first line of defense when trouble comes. But many of us, after trying to fix our problems ourselves, make bringing our troubles to God the last resort. The great hymn What a Friend We Have in Jesus reminds us of the incredible privilege we were given when He finished His work on the cross. We no longer need a high priest to intercede for us. Because of what Christ did for us we are able and encouraged to take all of our cares and pain directly to Him.
